At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. When you donate to the Y, 100% of your contribution supports our Financial Assistance Program, which is dedicated to ensuring that everyone in South Palm Beach County has access to vital community programs & resources that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. 
 

Annually the Y provides over $1 million dollars in programs and services back to the community.

During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, our Y transitioned our services and facilities to meet vital needs in our community. Below are a few stats about our Y's impact in 2020:

• Served more than 37,500 individuals access to the vital programs and services of the Y that they otherwise would be unable to afford.

• Provided 99 children of emergency service and healthcare workers at our Y's Camp Care for essential workers. 

• 1,681 children and teens participated in the Y’s Youth Sports Program. 

• Provided 10,224 hours of homework assistance through the Y’s Education Enrichment Program.

• 2,076 youth created memories at Y Camps.

• 60,000+ hours of physical activity were completed through the Y’s Summer Camp.

• 1,806 youth participated in After School programs at the Y.

• More than 600 volunteers provide the skills, time and passion to ensure our Y is fulfilling our mission.

• Offered 2,432 swim lessons as part of our Drowning Prevention and Aquatics Programs, with an additional 390 receiving land-based Water Safety education.

  • 253 At Risk youth received Water Safety Education and Swim instruction.

• Provided 30 youth, teens and young adults with Special Needs with access to trained instructors for respite care.
